Privi has a culture and belief of holistic sustainable development encompassing sustainable manufacturing, product safety, economic analysis, sustainability-oriented supply chain management and social and community based sustainable requirements.

Privi is actively disclosing its Scope-1, 2 & 3 emissions to CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) & is scoring C which is in the Awareness band. We intend to scale up to B rating in next 2 years.CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) enables us to protect and improve our company's reputation, boost competitive advantage, uncover risks and opportunities, and track and benchmark progress.

Privi reports its water security disclosure through the CDP platform. CDP's work with water security motivates to disclose and reduce the environmental impacts by using the power of investors and customers.

Privi has submitted commitment letter to the SBTi stating commitment to set a long term- science-based target to reach net-zero value chain GHGs emissions by no later than 2050 in line with the SBTi net-zero standards, submit it for SBTi validation and publish it, all within a maximum of 24 months. By committing to set net-zero target, we also acknowledge that our company will be part of Business Ambition for 1.5 °C campaign. Respect for the environment is a natural outgrowth of Privi’s legacy of responsible innovation. Through solutions across the range of our manufacturing process, we aim to reduce emissions, recycle waste, and improve our eco-friendly operations.

PRIVI SPECIALITY CHEMICALS LTD (GROUP) has been awarded a ‘Silver’ medal in recognition of sustainability achievement! To receive this medal companies must have an overall score of 56-66.
EcoVadis provides the leading solution for monitoring sustainability in global supply chains. Using innovative technology and sustainability expertise, EcoVadis strive to engage and help them us sustainable practices.

We have active membership of Sedex which is the world's leading online platform for companies to manage and improve working conditions in global supply chains. The Sedex assessment consists of 4 key pillars - Labour Standards, Health & Safety, Environment and Business Ethics.

Privi has done RSPO membership registration and further certification process is underway. We have started buying one of our raw materials which is being manufactured using intermediate of palm oil. In-order to comply with the RSPO supply chain we are going for RSPO certification.

Our business is closely related with SDGs and we actively work towards 8 out of 17 UN SDG’s. These SDGs are aligned with the organization's business strategy which includes revenue growth by creating new opportunities for market differentiation and growth through innovation.
